Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is set to be available for selection in tomorrow’s Serie A match against Sampdoria.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 32-year-old is ready to be called up for action after having gotten past a calf injury which has ruled him out of action for the beginning of the season.
Sanchez has been dealing with a persistent calf injury which caused him to miss all but 45 minutes of the Copa America with Chile over the summer, while he was also unavailable for preseason with the Nerazzurri.
The 32-year-old was not ready to be a part of the squad for either the Genoa or Hellas Verona matches to begin Inter’s Serie A season, but he will likely at least make the bench for tomorrow’s match.
Manager Simone Inzaghi will be glad to have Sanchez at his disposal, with the coach ready to rotate the squad through a busy period in the season.
