Ex-Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Orsi has suggested that the Scudetto is there for Inter to win if they really want to defend their crown, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Whilst speaking during a show on Radio Marte, the Sky Sport columnist and commentator suggested that the Scudetto is so open this season that it should be Inter who win it once again.

“The championship is still there for Inter but there is something for everyone this season.”

Inter have won their first two games of the season and their next two Serie A fixtures are the types of games that Simone Inzaghi will be happy to open up his season with.

The Nerazzurri beat Genoa 4-0 at San Siro on the opening day in a party atmosphere. Milan Skriniar opened the scoring, with Hakan Calhanoglu adding a second swiftly afterwards.

The next two were scored by Arturo Vidal and Edin Dzeko as they both showed they can be of extreme use to Simone Inzaghi this season.
