One of Argentine duo Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa could start against Sampdoria tomorrow, with coach Simone Inzaghi set to select between the two based on who is more prepared after a late return from international duty.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri will likely rely on one of the pair with the option of playing Stefano Sensi in the hole behind Edin Dzeko a Plan B option.

Martinez and Correa will only return this evening from international duty, with the pair having been away late with international duty due to the Argentine national side playing one extra World Cup qualifier to make up for a missed fixture in the spring.

For this reason, their availability to start tomorrow’s Serie A return at the Marassi has been in doubt, but they could nevertheless be selected with Inzaghi looking to put out a strong eleven.
