Italian journalist Lucian Moggi believes that Inter should be able to defeat Sampdoria in their Serie A matchup tomorrow.

Writing in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Libero, the journalist gave his view that the Nerazzurri are the strongest side in Serie A currently and that they should have the edge at the Marassi.

Inter return from the international break having won their opening two matches before the pause, and they will hope that away at Sampdoria they can continue in this vein with another win.

They will be under no illusions that it will be an easy fixture for them, especially with players missing or fatigued thanks to the taxing international fixtures that many squad members were involved in, but as Moggi suggests, the squad will be expected to have enough quality in it to overcome the Genoa-based outfit, especially after their impressive form in the first two matchdays.

“Inter, who on the whole seem to have something more than their rivals, are favourites against Sampdoria,” Moggi writes.
