Inter have provided fitness updates on two important squad members following yesterday’s match against Sampdoira, with Alessandro Bastoni fully fit and Stefano Sensi’s knee injury confirmed.

This according to the club’s official site, which provides updates for both players including clarifying that the knock picked up by Sensi is a sprained medial collateral ligament.

Sensi had to come off yesterday after he was no longer able to play due to an injury picked up after coming on as a substitute at the Marassi, appearing to have hurt his right knee, and a scan today has revealed the nature of the injury.

It is not yet clear how long the midfielder will be out with the injury, but it will likely be some time before he fully recovers.

Meanwhile, Bastoni looks to be fully cleared to play after a thigh problem which kept him out of yesterday’s match was determined to have been fully healed.

It remains to be seen whether the 22-year-old defender will be selected for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Real Madrid, but he should be available for the fixture.
