Inter President Steven Zhang addressed the Nerazzurri squad this morning to give a motivational speech ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League group stage clash with Real Madrid at the San Siro.

This according to the club’s official site, which describes the President as having impressed upon the team the significance of the competition ahead of tomorrow’s hugely significant match.

The Nerazzurri have not enjoyed their last three seasons in Europe’s top competition, with three disappointing exits in a row a stark contrast from their strong form in the league.

Zhang will be keen to see his club enhance their reputation on the continental stage by making it to at least the knockout rounds this season in a tough but winnable group, and he made clear to the players that competing on all fronts will be the aim this season.

In addition, the Nerazzurri President welcomed new players in the squad and spoke to them about the importance of conducting themselves in the right way to represent the Inter colours.
