Italian journalist Paolo Condo believes that Inter will have to be wary of Real Madrid in tomorrow’s Champions League group stage opener given the Merengues’ European pedigree.

Speaking on Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, as reported by FCInter1908, the journalist gave the view that Real will always be a difficult opponent in Europe regardless of the circumstances.

In Real Inter drew an opponent who got the best of them on both occasions they met in last year’s edition of the Champions League, and the Nerazzurri will once against have to be considerate of the threat posed by the La Liga leaders.

The Madrid giants have experience all through their team and have shown a knack for finding a way to win difficult games, and the Nerazzurri will not only have to be at their best to get the better of them but will also have to keep them from finding their way back into the match given that as Condo says, the Merengues “have nine lives like cats.”
