Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi has already missed more than a third of the matches for his club since joining in the summer of 2019, with the 26-year-old now set to miss more.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, where the midfielder’s injury record is explained, and it is detailed that he has started only seventeen matches while appearing in a total of 43 since joining the club.

Sensi’s injury record has unfortunately come to characterize his time at the Nerazzurri despite numerous flashes of his undoubted talent, with forty matches out of the 105 that the club has played since his arrival having been spent on the sidelines as the midfielder has officially missed 230 days recovering from injury.

His total minutes played for the Nerazzurri currently stands at 1741, not what he would have expected when joining or what the club would have wanted from the former Sassuolo man.

There will still be hope that the 26-year-old can put together a sustained run of form in a Nerazzurri shirt that would see him really establish himself in the first-choice midfield, but with the player set to miss at least another few weeks through a knee injury picked up on the weekend against Sampdoria this will still have to wait for a little while longer at least.
