Inter have released their squad list for this evening’s Champions League group stage opener against Real Madrid, and defender Alessandro Bastoni is in the 23-man list.

This is confirmed on the Nerazzurri’s official site, where the complete list of players called up for the Real clash is announced ahead of the game.

Simone Inzaghi will already have some injury-enforced selection dilemmas, with Bastoni’s situation of particular interest ahead of this evening’s kickoff.

The 22-year-old had picked up a minor thigh injury while on international duty with the Italian national team during the international break and missed the Nerazzurri’s trip to Genoa to face Sampdoria over the weekend.

He was a doubt for today’s fixture as well, but quickly recovered from the knock and has been in full training, so he he can at least start on the bench, although it remains to be seen whether Inzaghi will start him in the match.

Meanwhile, midfielder Stefano Sensi is absent from the squad as the knee injury he picked up against Sampdoria on Sunday is definitely ruling him out.
