Inter striker Edin Dzeko is set to start up top in the Nerazzurri’s Champions League clash with Real Madrid this evening, with manager Simone Inzaghi ready to stick with the Bosnian.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri coach will rely on the experienced Bosnian in attack.

Dzeko has led the line in each of Inter’s three Serie A matches so far this season and he will likely continue to do so, with Lautaro Mrtinez to partner him in attack.

Meanwhile, Matteo Darmian will likely keep his place on the right as the Italian is likely to start ahead of summer signing Denzel Dumfries, while Hakan Calhanoglu will also play from the start once again despite the competition posed by an in-form Arturo Vidal.

In the backline, Alessandro Bastoni looks set to return after dropping out for Federico Dimarco on the weekend against Sampdoria due to a minor thigh injury, having completed a full training session.
