Inter have deemed the likes of Lutaro Martinez, Alessandro Bastoni, and Nicolo Barella as untouchable, with the young trio all players who the Nerazzurri hope to build around for the future.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio have made clear their stance that the three players are not for sale.

Inter had a difficult summer transfer window, in which economic circumstances led them to sell Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku.

The possibility of having to make more major sales due to financial difficulties always looms, but Marotta and Ausilio have identified the likes of Martinez, Bastoni, and Barella as the three players who cannot be allowed to leave.

These three players, all under the age of 25, are seen as the core of the team for years to come, and are therefore not considered to be for sale by the directors.
