Inter striker Edin Dzeko is expected to be put on the bench for Inter’s next Serie A match against Bologna on Saturday, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport, the Bosnian could make way for an all Argentine attack of Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa.

The latter only played a small part in Wednesday’s Champions League defeat at home to Real Madrid whereas Edin Dzeko played the full 90 minutes. That is why it makes sense to rotate the strike force so as to not tire Edin Dzeko out too soon into the season.

That is likely to not be the only change, with three or four more also likely as Simone Inzaghi attempts to keep his squad fresh and share the workload.

He may look to rest another centre-back as they have all been playing a lot of minutes for club and country.
