Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has communicated to the club that he wants to stay with the Nerazzurri beyond his current contract, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com today, the Croatian is in no doubt that he wants to sign a new contract with the club and continue his journey with Inter.

There were fears that Inter had already missed their opportunity to renew Marcelo Brozovic’s contract on their own terms because they allowed it to run into its final year.

Evidently, though, the player’s desire to stay at the club means an agreement is expected imminently despite clubs such as Paris Saint Germain, who could offer a much bigger wage, clearly being interested in the player.

Marcelo Brozovic wants a salary that is in line with Hakan Calhanoglu’ which is believed to be around €5.5 million per season.

Inter will not be offering higher than that.
