Inter defender Milan Skriniar is not dwelling on the disappointing result of last night’s Champions League group stage opener against Real Madrid, a 1-0 defeat following a last-minute strike by Merengues striker Rodrygo.

Instead, the Slovak wants the team to put the result behind them and continue to think positively and show confidence on the pitch, following a performance in which the team look strong in defeat.

The defender made a post on his Instagram account following the match, which he captioned “It hurts, but let’s pick ourselves back up!”
