Inter appear to have an issue with finishing off the chances they create during games, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FcINternews today, Inter had 26 shots combined between the Sampdoria fixture in Serie A last weekend and the Champions League fixture against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

That shows that the creative elements of the squad seem to be working to great effect but they are not finishing the crucial opportunities, given they have only managed two goals from those 26 attempts.

This is why some fans are getting concerned that Romelu Lukaku’s departure may hit the club harder than initially feared.

Edin Dzeko missed plenty of presentable chances during the defeat to Real Madrid and this is why he is expected to be on the bench against Bologna.

It is likely that Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa will be the starters against Bologna on Saturday.
