Inter fans may get their first opportunity to see Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa start a match together when Bologna visit San Siro on Saturday, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Argentine duo could be used straight from the off against the Rossoblu because Edin Dzeko is in need of some time on the bench after playing 90 minutes against Real Madrid.

The two strikers appear to have a great mutual understanding when they play together for Argentina, and they were impressive together for the short time they shared the pitch in Inter’s 3-1 win away at Hellas Verona.

Inter has a very tough run of games coming up with fixtures against Atalanta, Sassuolo, Shakhtar Donetsk and Fiorentina all needing to be navigated before the next international break which is in October.

Simone Inzaghi must balance his squad well for these matches.
