Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has expressed his sadness at Inter’s failure to get off to a winning start in the Champions League after losing 1-0 to Real Madrid.
The Turkish midfielder shared three photos to his Instagram page from the match at San Siro, which was won by Real Madrid thanks to a 89th minute strike from young Brazilian forward, Rodrygo.
The caption for the photo read: “We did our best but it wasn’t enough. We will take lessons and show what we can do in the Champions League. 5 more games to go.”
