Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic made a small piece of history for the club and himself in the 1-0 defeat against Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

In a post on Instagram, Inter explained that Marcelo Brozovic had 123 touches of the ball against Real Madrid.

Only one Inter player has had more than that in a Champions League match since Opta began collecting data, which was in 2004/05.

The player in question is Wesley Sneijder, who still holds the record for a game he played in 2010, the year Inter last won the tournament.
