Simone Inzaghi is planning to try a new partnership in attack for Inter in the hopes of addressing the poor finishing they suffered from against Real Madrid, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera today, Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa are expected to be the two players to start in the attack for Inter, a partnership that has not yet been used from the first minute with Inter.

That means that Edin Dzeko is being given a rest, but it could also be related to the fact that he missed some very presentable opportunities in the Champions League defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Simone Inzaghi may want to take him out of the spotlight for a game and see if Joaquin Correa can bring a more lethal touch to proceedings and bring the best out of Lautaro Martinez as well.
