Inter defender Milan Skriniar highlighted that the defeat midweek against Real Madrid made them very angry, stating that as a reason for their impressive first half performance against Bologna at the Satdio Giuseppe Meazza.

The Slovakian international defender stopped by Italian broadcaster DAZN immediately after the first half, adding that he was very happy with the Nerazzurri’s first half peformance.

“Where the anger comes from? From the match on Wednesday night. We said that we had to immediately come out here on the pitch with anger to crush our opponents.

“We have played a good first half, now we have to continue like this in the second half.”

Inter lead Bologna after the first half by 3-0 after goals from Lautaro Martinez, Milan Skriniar and Nicolo Barella.
