Inter Vice-President Javier Zanetti is happy with how the Nerazzurri performed against Bologna yesterday in their Serie A clash at the San Siro.

Speaking on the program Tutto Convocati on Italian broadcaster Radio 24, the Vice-President gave his reaction to Inter’s emphatic win over the Rossoblu.

Inter had to shake off a draw against Sampdoria at the Marassi in the previous round of Serie A and a disappointing midweek loss to Real Madrid, and they did so with an emphatic 6-1 rout of Sinisa Mihajlovic’s men.

Zanetti is pleased with his team’s performance and the qualities they showed to achieve this impressive rout, though he also does not wish to see them rest on their laurels.

The Nerazzurri have to travel to Tuscany this week to face Fiorentina, and they will have to do it all over again against Vincenzo Italiano’s in-form La Viola side to keep the momentum from yesterday’s win up.

“Great performance by Inter, a result which gives us confidence,” Zanetti said, “now we head to face Fiorentina on Tuesday.”
