Inter forward Joaquin Correa is set to be ruled out of the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi due to an injury suffered in yesterday’s match against Bologna.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Argentine will not be available to be selected in time for Tuesday’s fixture.

Correa had to come off the pitch in some discomfort midway through the second half in yesterday’s win over Bologna, following a clash with Rossoblu defender Lorenzo Di Silvestri.

Tests at the Humanitas clinic revealed that the 27-year-old had sustained a contusion to his pelvis after the challenge, and it does not look likely that he will recover in time for the match against La Viola.

Meanwhile, midfielder Arturo Vidal is also a doubt to return for the Fiorentina clash after missing yesterday evening’s match thanks to a thigh strain.
