Fiorentina head coach Vincenzo Italian believes that Inter will be very tough opponents when the Nerazzurri travel to Tuscany to face his team.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the match, as reported by FCInterNews, the Italian tactician spoke about the kind of approach he expects from the Nerazzurri and talked about their qualities.

One point separates Inter and Fiorentina in the table after four matches, and they will both know that tomorrow’s Serie A clash at the Stadio Artemio Franchi will be one of the sternest tests, if not the sternest, that each will have faced in the Serie A season so far.

Both sides look to be in good form playing under highly-regarded young managers who took over in the summer, and Italiano expects the defending Italian champions to play well under his opposite number Simone Inzaghi based on what he’s seen of them this season.

“We must fear everything about them,” the Viola coach said. “They are the champions of Italy, so far they have played excellent matches, even against Real Madrid. Inter are strong physically and mentally, if you give them opportunities they punish you because they have a strong sense of cynicism.”

“However, if we go out on the pitch the way we have in the last few matches we can cause Inter problems and put their strengths to the test,” he went on. “We must not make a mistake in our approach, we must take the pitch with concentration, with the utmost attention. I hope it will be a good match because we both play open football.”
