Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has been unanimously praised in Italian media for masterminding the Nerazzurri’s 6-1 rout of Bologna on Saturday.

The Italian tactician received highly positive scores in the player ratings of the major Italian newspapers after the match, with his team looking very well-oiled in and out of possession and his player selections working as intended.

There was some doubt as to whether the former Lazio boss was the right man to replace Antonio Conte when he was brought in to replace the Scudetto-winner at the beginning of the summer, but he is starting to show a real identity at the Giuseppe Meazza and get results while imposing his style of play.

The win against Bologna was the most emphatic of the season, and it showed that the manager has the team playing in his image.

Inzaghi received a grade of 7.5/10 for his managerial performance from Gazzetta dello Sport, while the likes of Corriere dello Sport and L’Interista both awarded him scores of 8/10.
