Hakan Calhanoglu and Ivan Perisic are set to start for Inter against Fiorentina having sat out the Nerazzurri’s match against Fiorentina on Saturday.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi will start the duo in the Serie A clash at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Inter are in a busy part of the calendar, and the importance of rotating the squad to avoid fatigue among the the players will be in the head coach’s mind as he looks to make his selection decisions for matches.
The likes of Stefano Sensi, Joaquin Correa, and Arturo Vidal will all miss the trip to Tuscany through injury, but Calhanoglu and Perisic look set to regain their places in the starting eleven having dropped to the bench at the San Siro over the weekend after starting every match prior in the Nerazzurri’s season.
