Inter forward Joaquin Correa is not expected to miss the Nerazzurri’s match against Atalanta at the San Siro on Saturday.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 27-year-old’s recovery is on track for him to be fully fit and available for selection against La Dea.

Correa suffered a bruise to his pelvis during the Nerazzurri’s match against Bologna last Saturday, having to come off the pitch in some discomfort after a strong challenge by Rossoblu defender Lorenzo De Silvestri.

However, the Argentine has been recovering and the issue is expected to pass away soon, with the player expected to be back training with the rest of the squad tomorrow or the day after.

Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez are expected to keep their places starting up top for the match against Gian Piero Gasperini’s team, but Correa will be fit enough for the bench.
