Inter striker Edin Dzeko is the right man to spearhead the Nerazzurri’s attack, according to Italian media.

The Bosnian’s qualities are highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who argue that when Dzeko is leading the line the team have a goal outlet as well as a sense of composure in the final third.

Dzeko has not disappointed since his arrival from Roma in the summer, currently leading the scoring charts at Inter with four goals in Serie A.

However, the Gazzetta point out that his brace against Bologna came when the Nerazzurri had already all but wrapped up the victory, while against Fiorentina yesterday evening the 35-year-old showed that he can also prove decisive with his contributions by making it 2-1 and leading his team to victory with a well-placed header.

Apart from goalscoring statistics, however, the Bosnian can also be credited with giving his team a reference point in attack, having also showed his technical quality and vision in the buildup to the equalizer, and has both the physical strength and the winning mentality to keep competing which convinced the Nerazzurri to sign him from Roma.
