Atalanta could be without two important players when they travel to face Inter at San Siro on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported on the official Atalanta website, the team underwent a training session at the Bortolotti Center in Zingonia to prepare for the match against Simone Inzaghi’s side.

Matteo Pessina underwent a separate training programme from the rest of the team due to a foot injury he has been trying to recover from. It is therefore unlikely the Italy international will feature in the match.

Colombian striker Luis Muriel is also doubtful for the clash because he underwent a separate training programme too. His injury is not currently clear.

La Dea will definitely be without Dutch wing-back Hans Hateboer. After undergoing the surgical treatment that was necessary to stabilize the fifth metatarsal fracture of his right foot, Hateboer has already begun the rehabilitation treatments aimed at returning to the pitch.
