Inter duo Nicolo Barella and Joaquin Correa are expected to recover quickly from the injuries they sustained in Inter’s last two Serie A fixtures, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Nicolo Barella has no doubts that he will be starting the weekend’s match against Atalanta despite having to put ice on his left thigh after the Fiorentina match.

Despite the positive news of him being fit to play, it is a situation where Simone Inzaghi must manage the players carefully to not create a major injury issue.

Joaquin Correa was substituted after half an hour in the win over Bologna, but he is recovering much quicker than had been expected. He is likely to still be kept out the team for the Atalanta match.

As for Arturo Vidal and Stefano Sensi, they are still expected to miss the next couple of fixtures.
