Inter are expecting to start the match against Atalanta on Saturday with the same two strikers as they did against Fiorentina, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko will almost certainly be the two strikers for Simone Inzaghi’s side as they face La Dea on Saturday evening.

There is a chance that Simone Inzaghi would have wanted to give Edin Dzeko a rest for this match given he played one hour against Bologna and 70 minutes against Fiorentina on Tuesday, but the injury to Joaquin Correa makes it impossible.

The Argentine suffered a pelvis injury against Bologna and had to be taken off after half an hour. He was not involved in the squad for the Fiorentina game but is recovering much quicker than expected.

He will not be rushed into the starting eleven though.
