Ex-Inter striker Christian Vieri has suggested that those criticising Simone Inzaghi at Inter do not know what they’re talking about, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during a stream on his Twitch channel, BoboTV, Christian Vieri explained that some people are criticising Simone Inzaghi for making changes too soon in Inter matches.

He then said that people do not understand the job that the coach is going and that as Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano pointed out, Inter always comes on strong at the end of games and win.

“Who is slaughtering Inzaghi for the changes too soon? People don’t understand anything. Inter eventually always wins, they’re too strong, Italian0 also said it.”

Whilst discussing the methods that Simone Inzaghi used at his old team, Lazio, Christian Vieri explained that he gave the likes of Luis Alberto and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic much more creative and positional freedom than new boss Maurizio Sarri is.

“With Inzaghi, they were freer, now they must be regular. They like to have the ball at their feet, so it takes time because for 4-5 years they were used to doing it differently.”

Lazio have struggled to put together a run of decent results so far under Maurizio Sarri, having won just two of their first five games
