Inter are continuing to focus on revolutionising the number of sponsors they have around the world in order to raise more funds for the club, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported today by Tuttosport, the next market that Inter are looking to move into is Africa. Not many top clubs have much in the way of business interests there, despite the continent being home to well over one billion people.

Inter currently have eight different commercial partners which is more than both AC Milan and Juventus. The majority of these deals originate from Europe and Asia, given the club’s location and its Chinese ownership.

The club has now identified Africa as an untapped market among elite football clubs as a new frontier for sponsorship opportunities that can help to offset the financial damages that were done during the Coronavirus pandemic over the past two years.
