It seems unlikely that Joaquin Correa will play any part in Inter’s match at home to Atalanta on Saturday evening due to a pelvic injury, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Argentine forward does not seem to be recovering quickly enough from the injury he sustained during the 6-1 win over Bologna last weekend.

In an impact with a Rossoblu defender, Joaquin Correa suffered a pelvic injury that forced him to be substituted with just half an hour on the clock.

The injury is not as serious as was first feared, but the match against Atalanta will almost certainly come too soon for him.

It is also worth remembering that the squad will be flying to Ukraine on the Monday after the game to face Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.

Simone Inzaghi may keep him sidelined so he can play a part in that match.
