Inter may find themselves with a major selection headache after the international break due to the number of South American stars in the team, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the difficulties with getting South American players back into Italy in time for the next Serie A match could become prominent again in mid-October.

Inter first need to navigate matches against Atalanta, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Sassuolo before some members of the squad can have a slight rest during the international break.

For the South American contingent, the end of the international break will be a major issue.

There will be South American World Cup qualifiers on the Thursday and Friday nights, meaning that Lautaro Martinez, Joaquin Correa, Matias Vecino, Alexis Sanchez, and Arturo Vidal could all not return until a few hours before the league match against Lazio.
