Inter are still looking to sign a new goalkeeper next summer to replace club captain Samir Handanovic despite his potential upturn in form, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Samir Handanovic had been subjected to many fans on social media calling for him to be replaced by Andrei Radu, the second choice goalkeeper at the club.

He responded to the claims by putting in a wonderful performance against Fiorentina on Tuesday night. He made multiple world class saves to keep Inter in the contest, and he could do nothing about the goal that La Viola scored to make it 1-0.

Despite this, Inter are still focusing on Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana who will be a free agent in June and has no intention of renewing with the Dutch club.

The Cameroonian is very close to returning from the suspension he has been serving for a doping violation, one that he refutes to this day.
