Inter forward Joaquin Correa is doing everything he can to get fit for Atalanta’s visit to San Siro to face the Nerazzurri on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FcINternews, the ex-Lazio man picked up a pelvic injury during Inter’s commanding 6-1 win over Bologna last weekend.

It was the first time that the Argentine had been given a chance by Simone Inzaghi to start a match for the Nerazzurri, but he had to be replaced by Edin Dzeko after just half an hour thanks to the injury.

It seems highly unlikely that he will be in a position to start the match against Atalanta and having trained alone on Thursday morning, there is still a chance he will not make the squad at all.

With the games coming thick and fast, though, he will get another chance in the team very soon.
