Inter boss Simone Inzaghi is not likely to make too many changes between the Atalanta match on Saturday and the Champions League fixture against Shakhtar Donestk, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Sport Mediaset, the importance of the two fixtures for Inter’s season will likely mean that the spine of the team will remain the same for both fixtures.

This means the back three of Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, and Alessandro Bastoni will almost certainly all start both matches.

There is the potential for some rotation on the wings between Ivan Perisic, Federico Dimarco, Denzel Dumfries and Matteo Darmian.

In the midfield, Nicolo Barella and Marcelo Brozovic are expecting to play in both of the matches but the third midfielder could be changed to give Hakan Calhanoglu a rest.

Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez may have to start both matches as Joaquin Correa recovers from injury.
