Inter forward Joaquin Correa took part in group training on Friday despite fears over his pelvic injury, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport, the Argentinian forward had been training alone during the week due to the injury he picked up during the match against Bologna.

That match last weekend, a 6-1 victory for Inter, was the first he had started in for the Nerazzuri.

He had to be substituted after half an hour, though, because of a collision with a Bologna defender. He was replaced by Edin Dzeko.

It seemed highly unlikely that Joaquin Correa would play any role at all for Inter in Saturday evening’s clash with Atalanta at San Siro but now he is in the picture to at least make the bench now that he has trained with the whole team and proved his fitness to Simone Inzaghi and the coaches.
