Nicolo Barella and Lautaro Martinez were Inter’s best performers against Atalanta in yesterday evening’s 2-2 draw at the San Siro according to Italian media.

This from today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who awarded the pair scores of 7.5/10 in their player ratings from the match.

Barella assisted Martinez for the early opening goal, with both the midfielders curled delivery and the striker’s acrobatic volley quite eye-catching, and neither player looked back from there in what were among their better displays of the season.

Meanwhile, Edin Dzeko who scored the Nerazzurri’s second-half equalizer and won a penalty was awarded a score of 7/10, while the likes of Alessandro Bastoni and substitutes Denzel Dumfries and Matias Vecino were given 6.5/10 grades.

6/10 grades were handed out to the likes of Milan Skriniar, Ivan Perisic, Matteo Darmian, Marcelo Brozovic, and Federico Dimarco, while mediocre grades of 5/10 were given to Hakan Calhanoglu, Stefan de Vrij, and Samir Handanovic and coach Simone Inzaghi earned a 6.5/10 score for how he approached the contest.
