Inter are considering Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno as a possible long-term replacement for current Number One Samir Handanovic.

This according to Spanish news outlet Fichajes.net, who report that the German is one of the players on the Nerazzurri’s radar to take the place of the Slovenian.

Handanovic turned 37 this summer and the Nerazzurri have been at work looking to bring in a long-term replacement for him for some time, the need for this being heightened by the Slovenian’s shaky form at the beginning of this season.

Ajax’s Andre Onana has been reported as one of their main targets, but Arsenal’s Leno is also a serious target.

Leno joined the Guners from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2018, but with the arrival of €30 million man Aaron Ramsdale in the summer it is thought that they would be willing to part with Leno for the right price, and the Nerazzurri could swoop for him.
