Legendary former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchnidardi believes that Inter can go all the way and win the Scudetto under head coach Simone Inzaghi.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, the 46-year-old gave a positive review of the performances seen so far from the Nerazzurri and predicted that they can get to the level where they can win Serie A under the guidance of the former Lazio boss.

Inter lost Antonio Conte in the summer before also seeing the departures of key players Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku, leading many to question whether they would be able to show the strength to defend last season’s Scudetto crown.

However, early signs have looked encouraging, with Inzaghi’s new-look Inter side looking far from the finished article but showing both physical intensity and technical quality in addition to an intense determination to take points from games.

Tacchinardi believes that they have everything to find the right balance to win the Scudetto and are favourites of the rest of the top teams in Italy.

“Inzaghi is doing a great job. I choose Inter from the pack – they don’t yet have a balance between attack and defense, but they have a strong squad, a physical and highly mentally stongteam. Inter gives me the feeling of being the one who can go all the way in the end. Handanovic made mistakes that were unlike him. In the last few games he hasn’t shown his best.”
