Former Juventus, Sunderland, and Napoli midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini believes that Inter and AC Milan are the best-placed sides in Serie A currently as they are more well-organized than others.

Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport in an interview published in yesterday’s print edition, the 36-year-old praised the tactical cohesion shown by the two Milan teams during the first few matches of the Serie A season.

This season the Italian top flight looks to be highly competitive at the top end of the table, with a number of sides showing the qualities needed to potentially go all the way or at least make a positive impression and finish in the top four.

For the former Italian international, however, it is the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri who show the best organization to be able to compete at the very top and finish ahead of their rivals in Serie A.

He gave his appraisals, “I also put Roma in, to whom Jose Mourinho has bought a lot. Inter and Milan are better placed due to being organized, Napoli are surprising me for how they manage to win games with great ease. I think Juventus fans will have to be patient, because this can be a year of transition.”
