Inter will see two changes to their starting eleven against Shakhtar compared to the one which faced Atalanta on Saturday, with Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco set to come into the lineup for Matteo Darmian and Ivan Perisic.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who released their predictions for the eleven to be selected by Nerazzurri head coach Simone Inzaghi, with Hakan Calhanoglu also keeping his place in midfield.

Inzaghi will want continuity from the team which has played well through the season so far, with key midfielders Nicolo Barella and Marcelo Brozovic not likely to be dropped, while Edin Dzeko is likely to continue starting up front for the Nerazzurri alongside Lautaro Martinez.

Dumfries could get his second ever start for the Nerazzurri, having started against Bologna but only appeared from the bench in subsequent games against Fiorentina and Atalanta.

Meanwhile, Dimarco could be entrusted with the starting berth on the opposite side of the pitch, taking the place of Ivan Perisic who started against Atalanta.

In midfield, Calhanoglu’s recent form has led to suggestions that he could be dropped for Matias Vecino, but Sky predict that he will retain his spot.

Their predicted lineup is as follows:

INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro.
