Inter-linked Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana is a target for Barcelona, but the Nerazzurri are still the favourites for the Cameroonian’s signature.

This according to Spanish news outlet Sport, who report that the Blaugranas have not given up on the 25-year-old and could still make a push for him, in January or next summer.

Inter have taken steps towards the signing of Onana, who is their main target as a long-term replacement for Samir Handanovic in goal.

With the Cameroonian’s current deal set to expire at the end of June 2022, he would be free to begin negotiating with other clubs in January, and the Nerazzurri are looking to make him their next keeper.

They could still face competition from Barcelona, however, with the Spanish giants reportedly still interested in bringing him to the Camp Nou even though Inter are the favourites.

It is also not excluded that Barcelona or Inter could look to sign Onana in January for a fee in order to win the race for his signature.
