Inter forward Joaquin Correa could start for the Nerazzurri against Sassuolo, with the Argentine fit enough to make his second start of the season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Correa is a candidate for selection in Simone Inzaghi’s starting eleven for the last match before the international break.

Correa has only made one start for Inter since joining from Lazio in the summer, against Bologna, and he had to come off injured during the first half after a clash with Rossoblu defender Lorenzo De Silvestri left him with a contusion to his pelvis.

The 27-year-old then missed the Nerazzurri’s two subsequent Serie A clashes before making his return yesterday against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League where he came off the bench in the second half.

Correa could play from the start for the second time against the Neroverdi though it remains to be seen if Inzaghi will go with the Argentine or opt to start with him on the bench again.
