Lazio goalkeeper Tomas Strakosha has been proposed to Inter, but the Nerazzurri are not interested in him as they consider Ajax’s Andre Onana to be their priority in the position.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Albanian has been put forward as a possible signing, and could arrive as a backup to the first-choice option for next season Onana.

Inter are in the market for a new keeper with Samir Handanovic turning 38 next summer and the club looking to move on from the Slovenian.

Onana is thought to be the primary target for the Nerazzurri, but Strakosha could move on from his current club, with Pepe Reina having displaced him as the starter for the Biancocelesti.

The 26-year-old had worked with Inter coach Simone Inzaghi for several seasons while the pair were together at Lazio, but in the final months of their last season together the coach had preferred Reina to him.

At the moment, with Onana the main priority and Handanovic also a possibility to stay on alongside the Cameroonian, Strakosha is not a priority for the Nerazzurri.
