Inter defender Milan Skriniar put in an excellent performance against Shakhtar Donetsk in yesterday’s Champions League clash with the Ukrainians, helping to ensure that his side didn’t concede several last-ditch challenges and all-around rock-solid defending.

The Slovenian received UEFA’s Man of the Match award for his display, and the Nerazzurri highlighted the defender’s deserved achievement with a post on their official Instagram account in which the player looks happy with his efforts as he holds his trophy.
