Inter appear to have two very different sets of form this season when Serie A results are compared with Champions League matches, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Inter needs to find out why they are such a better football team when playing against Italian opposition in Serie A than they are playing in the Champions League.
Inter have made a very promising start to the 2021/22 season in Serie A and are only four points behind Napoli at the top who have won every single game they have played.
Simone Inzaghi’s side appears to be nowhere near as prolific in Europe though, having lost 1-0 to Real Madrid on matchday one and drawn 0-0 with Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday night.
They will now have their work cut out to qualify from the group and end the run of early eliminations that the club is on.
