Paris Saint Germain are accelerating their interest in Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella despite his desire to sign a new contract, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by FcINternews today, the French side has identified Nicolo Barella as one of its primary targets in central midfield for next summer.
The list also contains names such as N’Golo Kante, Paul Pogba, and Franck Kessie. The Sardinian is very keen to sign a new deal at Inter and the club has set aside €4.5 million plus bonuses for Nicolo Barella but it is believed the interest from abroad may make him ask for more money.
This is a common tactic employed by Paris Saint Germain as they have much more financial strength than almost any other club.
Nicolo Barella may now request €5.5 million as a salary but there is a chance he will negotiate on this fee.
