Inter boss Simone Inzaghi does not want his side to be scrapping for qualification in the Champions League on the final matchday, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the poor early form that has been shown by Inter in the Champions League means that every game will feel like a cup final now for Simone Inzaghi and his team.

The Nerazzurri have lost 1-0 to Real Madrid at San Siro and drawn 0-0 with Shakhtar Donetsk in Kyiv on matchday two. That means they have just one point and have failed to even score a goal.

They sit third in the group behind Real Madrid who have three points, and FC Sheriff who have six points.

That means Inter will almost certainly not have qualification wrapped up before the final matchday of the group stage, adding more stress to the calendar for Simone Inzaghi.
